Entrepreneurship Support Program (ESP) Inaugurated at Mangal Multiple Campus

(KIrtipur, Nov 22). The Entrepreneurship Support Program (ESP) was formally inaugurated at Mangal Multiple Campus with an impressive and motivating opening ceremony. The program was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Laxmi Bahadur Maharjan, Chairperson of the Campus Management Committee (CMC).

The inauguration program was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including Prof. Dr. Shiva Sharan Maharjan, Advisor of MMC; Chairperson of Institute for Social and Environmental Research-Nepal Prof. Dr. Dharma Raj Dangol; Chairman of Kirtipur Municipal Chaber of Commerce and Industry IPP of Inner wheel Kirtipur Central Ms. Ranjana Maharjan; and CMC members Prof. Dr. Ajay Singh, Mr. Karna Maharjan, and Vice Campus Chief Mr. Rocky Maharjan, the focal person of ESP Ms. Bhawana Maharjan and other faculties.

The event began with a warm welcome speech by Campus Chief Mr. Pradip Maharjan, highlighting the importance of nurturing entrepreneurial mindsets among students. The program was conducted by Research Management Cell (RMC) Coordinator Mr. Upesh Maharjan, ensuring smooth coordination throughout the session.

A notable highlight of the ceremony was the remarks by Ms. Rajya Laxmi Shakya, Chairperson of Kirtipur Municipal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who shared her commitment to supporting student entrepreneurs. She expressed that the Council is ready to provide sufficient funds to initiate startup ventures, provided that students present appropriate ideas, a clear vision, mission, and well-defined goals.

Following the inauguration, participants took part in two insightful sessions:

ЁЯза Session 1: Design Thinking

Facilitated by Dr. Jitendra Dangol, this session empowered participants to think creatively, understand user needs, and redesign problems with innovative solutions.

ЁЯТб Session 2: Business Concept Development

Led by Dr. Sunil Chitrakaar, participants learned how to refine ideas into viable business concepts, evaluate feasibility, and build a strong foundation for entrepreneurial success.

The Entrepreneurship Support Program aims to empower aspiring student entrepreneurs with knowledge, skills, and mentorship essential for building successful ventures. The campus extends its gratitude to all guests, facilitators, and participants for making the inauguration a memorable and impactful event. The ESP is supported by the University Grant Commission (UGC), Kirtipur Municipal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KMCCI),Federation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), and Kirtipur Multipurpose Cooperative Limited.
