The Mangal Sports Fiesta 2079, which began on the 14th of Falgun and lasted until the 18th of Falgun, concluded successfully. The five-day-long sports festival featured a total of 13 events, including futsal, volleyball, table tennis, shotput, long jump, cross-country, and basketball. Additionally, two demonstration events were held – a girls’ futsal match and a students vs. teachers’ basketball friendship match.
The Mangal Sports Fiesta was jointly organized by the Mangal Multiple campus and Mangal Secondary School in Kathmandu and attracted a large number of participants. The sports festival aimed to promote sportsmanship and teamwork among the youth, as well as to provide a platform for talented athletes to showcase their skills.
The closing final boys’ volleyball match between BEd 2nd Year and XI team of the Mangal Sports Fiesta was held on the 18th of Falgun at the school’s playground. The winners of each event will be awarded medals and certificates in award distribution ceremony. The medalist winners are given in listed below.
The participants and spectators alike expressed their satisfaction with the event, saying that it provided a platform for young athletes to showcase their talent and that it was a great opportunity to foster friendly competition and sportsmanship.
The organizers of the Mangal Sports Fiesta expressed their gratitude to all the participants, sponsors, and volunteers who made the event a success.
