Kirtipur, September 21, 2024 — On the occasion of International Peace Day, Mangal Multiple Campus, in collaboration with the Inner Wheel Club of Kirtipur Central, organized a special program titled “Stress Management – Cultivating Peace”. The event took place at Mangal Multiple Campus, aligning with the 2024 theme of International Peace Day: “Cultivating the Culture of Peace.”
The program was inaugurated by the President of Inner Wheel Club Kirtipur Central, IW Numa Pandey, and the Chairperson of Mangal Multiple Campus, Prof. Dr. Laxmi Bahadur Maharjan. Both leaders emphasized the importance of peace in personal and communal well-being, particularly in managing the modern-day stress that many individuals face.
The event was facilitated by the psychologist Mr. Rocky Maharjan, who led the program in two distinct sessions. The first session focused on understanding stress—its causes, symptoms, and effective coping strategies. Mr. Maharjan elaborated on the various factors contributing to stress in daily life and shared practical techniques to manage and mitigate its impact.
In the second session, participants were guided through practical exercises aimed at promoting relaxation and inner peace. The attendees reported feeling calm and rejuvenated through these activities, which provided them with hands-on experience in stress relief techniques.
The program successfully highlighted the significance of managing stress to foster a culture of peace and well-being, aligning with the core values of International Peace Day 2024.
